By late February and early March, the joy of waking up to a fresh snowfall has usually worn off and many who live in the snow belt are yearning for warmth, sunshine and lazy days by the water. Older adults planning for retirement may be considering giving up on four seasons and settling down in a more temperate climate, but where are the best places to retire for people who are over and done with frigid temperatures?
Climate isn’t the only factor for choosing an ideal location to retire, cost of living must of course come into play along with the availability of health care, transportation, housing and other age-friendly considerations.
